Altijd al op een schilderachtige manier op tegels willen werken met monochromatisch glazuur, gelijk aan de Spaans/Portugese ‘Azulejos’? Dan is mijn workshop van drie middagen misschien wel wat voor jou.
Naar aanleiding van eigen onderzoek met verschillende penseel- en structuurtechnieken zet je een stevig fundament om daarmee een zelf meegebrachte afbeelding uit te werken op een 13x13 cm tegel. Bij het schilderen van je afbeelding zal je waar nodig worden ondersteunt door aanwijzigingen en praktische tips zodat je het meeste uit je enkelkleurige ontwerp kan halen en je het schilderachtige kan omarmen.

Deze workshop is geschikt voor:

• de geduldige creatief die werken op een klein oppervlak niet schuwt 
• degene die nieuwsgierig is naar een meer schilderachtige manier van werken met majolica 
• en voor degene die ervaring heeft met andere schildertechnieken

Deelnemers zorgen zelf voor een afbeelding (passend op ± 13x13 cm formaat) om uit te werken.

De Beeldhouwwinkel Zutphen heeft onlangs de nieuwgebouwde cursusruimte naast de winkel in gebruik genomen. Door binnenin voornamelijk hout te gebruiken is het een fijne, warme plek geworden met mooi werklicht, ideaal voor deze workshop. (Zie foto’s).

Based on your own research using various brush and texture techniques, you'll lay a solid foundation for developing your own image on a 13x13 cm tile. As you paint your image, you'll receive support where needed, with instructions and practical tips to help you get the most out of your single-colour design and embrace the painterly element.

This workshop is suitable for:

• the patient creative who does not shy away from working on a small format
• those curious about a more painterly approach to majolica
• and those with experience in other painting techniques

Participants provide their own image (suitable for a size of approximately 13x13 cm) to execute.

De Beeldhouwwinkel Zutphen recently opened its newly built art class space next to the shop. By using primarily wood inside, it's become a pleasant, warm space with beautiful lighting, ideal for this workshop. (See photo's.)
