Some time ago I entered the world of art exhibitions and started painting on unusual canvases such as books. Two of my first books included ‘Lucky the Cat’ and, shown here, ‘Cheery Cooky’. These works symbolized my transition from illustration to art and therefore I have always kept them. That is until now, because I am offering these two works for sale.
The second original work is ‘Cheery Cooky’, and it is the third painted (mixed media) book cover I made. The work is signed, dated and numbered on the front as #3 in the painted books serie. The wooden frame measures 26,5 x 34,5 x 3,2 cm / 10.43 x 13.58 x 1.25” The frame is the original frame.
